Hi Everyone,

We've once again got an excellent deal at the British Motor Museum to host our Annual General Meeting on Sunday 19th May.

This is your opportunity to interact with the club running and cast membership votes on critical items. We need the majority votes on how the membership feel about vital policy or future protocol.

We would be very grateful if all members give this real consideration to spare just a few hours of your time to spend with us, while also enjoying a day out effectively free of charge. Obviously, partners/family do not need to be present for the AGM side and will be free to enjoy the venue all day.

Entry, breakfast rolls, lunch and daily tea/coffee all supplied for Members.

Venue Opens : 10am (Members collect sticker from Willberry on arrival)
Tea & Coffee : 10:15am to 10:45am
AGM Starts : 10:45am
Lunch : 12:30pm to 13:30pm
AGM Continues : 13:30pm
AGM Finishes by 15:00pm

Only Paid up Members and Partner Members allowed within the actual AGM

Any other people with you can join the meeting room from 12:30pm to 13:30pm for Lunch

The sticker is your pass/ticket, we get given a roll or Will do when he signs in. Last year we waited by all the cars parked up and once Malcolm had the stickers, had them issued out.

Museum entry is included with Lunch for each member with the sticker above.

Will pencil you in, please confirm at earliest opportunity as we will be paying for places and food.

There will be no dial in. As discussed previously, and I think even at the last agm, the tech and bandwidth required to produce this is not viable for the cost and is location dependent. A central location is being used again to make as accessible for as many people as possible, and an adequate drive with multiple benefits of attending.

A dial in option will not be viable in the near future, when or if it becomes viable in the future with reduction in costs and improvements, the IT administration of the club will inform us to push out.

Would be nice to be up in the 20s or 30s again people. Remember it's free entry and lunch provided by the club. All you have to do is attend and contribute to sound running of the club, provide some new ideas and have face to face time with the committee with what you want and would like to see.

I'm not sure they work very well as discussions prior to the AGM personally, a list of points for discussion would be my preference. But I am sure protocol closer to the time of creating the relevant thread discussions prior to AGM will be instated by the club sec.

The numbers are steadily increasing. Please consider joining us for a day out and a bit of club business. This should be a good social event aswell as formal overview of the club. Having all CMs been in place a while now, we aim to make the formal side as painless as possible so we can all enjoy a day out together as a club. Last year was both well attended and a great place to visit.

My apologies in advance, I can't make this year's AGM as my son, DIL and grandson are flying back into the UK that day from Canada. We have to meet up with them and return their cat, whom we will be cat-sitting for 2 weeks whilst they are away. Looks like the club is heading for a reasonable turnout though
