Honestly, I've got terrible at checking in here over the last year. Put it down to stresses about bigger things and not feeling the love for a car without the income while travel is screwed to do all the things I want to to it. But I am looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and catching up, and I'll try to do better in future!

Great weekend as expected. Thanks to everyone involved and to John for doing a mini map for Flos this morning T-Rex paint by numbers photo will be posted as and when it’s done
Mini on and off convoy up to MK with Ainmhidh was a bit of fun - barring the tractor that slowed things down for a bit
Can’t wait to see the photos and for the next meet

Did like the synchronised take-off from the lights just after Buckingham into the national limit, beep in 1, beep in 2, cruise, smile!
Few pics from the hotel carpark yesterday afternoon.

I noticed when following Malcolm (cough, cough) and then Flos that the centre pipe of the catback for both seems to sit very low. Presumably you are both aware and it's perfectly normal?
These users thanked the author Ainmhidh for the post:
I asked Aston at Essex Rotary a few weeks ago to check the exhaust pipe had not dropped and hangers were OK. He said all was fine. My car does scrape on some of the more viscous speed bumps, but only when fully loaded. Not sure what back box is on flos, mine is Racing Beat.

Just got home after just over 4 hours driving time plus a 20 min stop along the way. Traffic wasn't too bad overall, but we were delayed by incident on a single carriageway which required a fire truck to attend with traffic halted in both directions. Luckily we came to a stol opposite a single track road and worked out we could do a cross-country detour to get around the stoppage! Very tired now, so will post up some photos later.

Just home and unloaded! Decent drive back in convoy with Dary (drk597) with stops along the way - even got passed by a silver S1 on the M5 friendly wave out the window hah!
It's been an awesome weekend and great meeting all of you (some for the first time!) and I aim to be back at many more meets to come The car has done damn well driving, used up some fuel - but it's all part of the fun
Photos to follow...

A few photos from the 1.45pm track session, delayed by the drift car fire, taken at Quarry. Pics are low res versions (less than 1Mb) to save space on the club server (originals ~10Mb)
