After dropping Chris off at Castle Combe at about 10am with his car and exhaust and to wait for recovery (I hope that went well Chris) I took a very much cross country route home thanks to my satnav (it didn't exactly take me the way I'd planned
as kindly worked out by Chris before I left him at the circuit) in my effort to avoid the M4 and missing the diversion signs again.
I got home about 10.30pm ... but this time not because I got lost.I was driving through Ewell thinking what I needed to do when I got home when I remembered (as I passed the end of her road) that I'd been invited to a friend's birthday celebration which was starting at 2pm. It was 2.15pm so as I was in the wrong lane to turn off I went all way round the roundabout and stopped off for drinks and food and even more socialising.

Being sat at Castle Combe on a sunny Sunday would have been better if something had actually been going on!
