99,999 and then 100,000
Been watching carefully with ever mounting tension recently and then today was the day good clear road and up came 99999 which I snapped and the up can 100000 and horror as the iPhone had shut down!!!!!
No where to pull in and bends too as I watched the 10ths change to 8 when that 9 would see 100001 then a straight section of road appeared, quick stop and out with the iPad and the moment was captured.
Images probably upside down due to iOS but I don't care!

Re: 99,999 and then 100,000
the 45 has the bulletproof L series deisel and has never been welded ...the 75 has the BMW deisel and had its first small patch welded on for the mot 2 years ago.
the 45 has only had an exhaust centre pipe in the 4 years ive had it apart from routine maintainance and the 75 only had to have front springs recently.
the 75 has all the toys like heated leccy seats etc and towed a trailer with a car on it till not long ago.
the 45 does 45mpg and only costs 130 quid a year to tax...so all in all im very happy with my fleet.
but the good part is that each car cost less than 1k so if they do break badly its off to the scrapyard and go and buy another.

Just noticed this thread.
Here's my passing the 100,000 mile mark photo I took from my first car.
100k-100mph by Chris Reeves, on Flickr
A 2001 1.6litre, 98bhp Mazda 323F that my parents had from new. I did over 70k miles in that car, and it's incredible how much of it is still original components!

How clever ... proper planning to make sure you were on a private road/track/autobahn (delete as appropriate ) just as you hit 100k.
