 & that exhaust is not standard either :thumright:

Just thought it was a nice pic of the two in a similar colour :colors:

Anyway it's all your fault I'm looking at the next car already Azam :p

I've already driven a Golf GTI with an ABT body kit & wheels, also a Scirocco, just before we bought the Mugen 200 :)

Our local Volkswagen dealership is next door but one to Honda....Audi,Toyota etc,etc are all in the same road which is less than a mile from home :yeah:

This is very handy at service time as I can drop the car off & walk to work in 5 mins :D

Aww don't get rid of the Fk2 just because of me. Sorry.
.

Yeah it was a great picture. Two totally different concepts trying to deliver the same result.

8) That'll do Nigel :thumleft:

Still got a while left on the FK2 PCP & not paying the final payment (13k) on this one for a change :p

I have my heart set on AWD & I can't see the Civics ever going in that direction unfortunately #-o

New stuff coming out all the time :)

The new A35 AMG Merc looks pretty cool & I will be interested to see the new Focus RS too :D

Anything remotely appealing to me these days is North of 30k but money is for spending :money:

The new A35 might be right up your street Mark. I would be weary of anything Ford does at the moment until the engines are proven. The current eco boost engines seem too unreliable. I think for example if you had the current focus Rs, out of warranty, they would be a huge risk.

The way, it is though most of the 4wd hot hatches now are German which means big money and hoping someone goes mad on the options list.

My eyes,my eyes :!: :puke:

Notice I phrased it AWD & not 4x4 :thumright:

It seems I can pick up a Golf R DSG with hardly any miles on for under 30k 8)

I'm still considering the idea of a Black FK8 so haven't abandoned you just yet

There's a "but" though - I'm not convinced by the FK8 exterior styling...not keen on those fake plastic mesh panels on the rear or the triple exhaust pipes if I'm honest :paranoid:

It would HAVE to be some kind of limited edition though so fingers crossed Honda get round to offering some after the face-lift is released [-o<

We'd had 7 Civics now so it would need to be something special otherwise a change is in order :p

BTW the FK2 had it's service on Tuesday...valve clearances were checked but no need for adjustment :D

K&N is back in :yeah:

Hmm bet that Golf at that price is pretty tempting.

As for The Fk8 I do think it's a car that doesn't particularly photograph well, but blows you away when you see it in the flesh. I got to be honest the vents at the rear abs triple exhaust don't bother me in the slightest because the car is just so different and I like different. Of course if you got a black one, those would blend in more.

As for a special edition, I think we might get something, but it will be more of a striped out, weight saving special more likely with more power but tbh not heard a peep about a special

After 7 civics, can see why you might want to try something else out..

Glad you got the service done. Mine didn't need any adjustment either.

I fear the Golf R boot space (343 Litres) will be too small #-o

Have been spoilt with 498 Litres in the Civic 8)

Needs to be able to fit 4 suitcases in the boot for the airport run :p

But there are other options....

GOLF R ESTATE

AUDI S4 ESTATE

I think the Audi is a better looking car,has a nicer interior, has more power (354 bhp)...but it costs a fair chunk more :money:

Yeah I think it's nicer looking than the Golf R estate if that's what you meant Mark.
Would an S5 be of any interest?
