So the Quadrifoglio did in fact come back days after my last post and all the parts did arrive, so won't need to go back. Nice to have her back and they done a great job. It had a new front bumper, front wing and headlight as the main parts and other smaller clips etc thst were broken behind.
And you know what I've still not driven it. Claire had to put some petrol in it and to take me to hospital on Friday to have my left eye done to balance the vision. Both times I've been a passenger. Yeah the unbalanced vision and not getting on with a contact lens in my left eye meant I couldn't drive it plus fluid leakage in the right eye. Kept on getting dry eye in my left eye which was creating focusing issues. The inbalance too leaving me nauseated and dizzy.
So the good news is the left eye has now been done and went well but the right eye has fluid in it after surgery and hoping the left doesn't go the same way. A trip to Moorfields tomorrow will see if they are happy to inject the eye to start getting rid of the fluid or whether they want to wait a bit longer.
On a more serious note I know Nigel mentioned I was unwell at the annual meet to some of you and I won't bore you with the details but cut right to the chase. The doctors found a tumour in my bladder last Tuesday. So having a ct scan on Saturday at Salisbury and then an op to remove it and a biopsy to see if it is cancerous.
So very much uncertain times for me. At this rate Claire gets to drive the Alfa for a bit longer.
. Just got to wait for my turn.
Stay safe everyone and take care.
