Why do car manufacturers put stupidly small wheels on new models? That car would look a million times better with a set of 18's or 19's as standard.

My buddy Paul ( tyler82 on here ) bought a new 6 with 19's as standard,it looks miles better than a smaller wheel

That's my favourite of all the cars you've considered so far Nigel. I'm a big fan of the Mazda 3 saloon since the revamp in 2014(?).

Generally for better efficiency for stop/start driving and a more comfy ride on affordable suspension. Which I suspect are higher priority to the customer base of that model over bling. The Mazda 6 is in the executive saloon segment which favours longer journeys and more pizzazz. Executive saloons are aimed at middle aged men who are often flattered (or so the market thinks) by more token 'sporty' elements. Which is less the case in the Mazda 3 segment and the price bracket has less room for fancy stuff like that.

That's my take anyway. Sorry for the slightly dull response!

That Silver car on test Ian has 18" Alloys fitted as standard, so what are you going on about :?: :!: ;)

The New Mazda 3 2.0lt Skyactiv-x MHEV GT Sport Tech Saloon in Silver Metallic with Stone Leather is just under 30k on the road before Discount :thumleft:

From one Broker so far on a Cash Sale I can get about 3k off the list price, but the Saloon Version has just been released on the UK Market, but reckon should get close on 6k off the list price within the next 6 months :thumright:

The Mazda 6 is too big for what I require the car for and have ruled out the Mazda 3 Hatchback because it's too cramped in the back for my Mum to get in and out of the car :!:

Haven't totally ruled out the New Toyota Camry and am hoping to drive one of these soo

The Number Plate will be : A20 BKT Image

Those pictures of the Mazda 3 you've put up is the model with the 16" wheels Nigel. It does come with 18" depending on what spec you choose Ian

I assume you can fit more in the back of the Corolla, given the minivan shape of the rear. I just find the inside a bit... boring I guess. The Mazda 3 just looks like a more interesting car for less money.

What are your thoughts between them Nigel?

I like both cars Haydn and it is a toss up on which one to go for  , but must admit in spec terms I prefer the Mazda over the Toyota :P

It really boils down do I want an Estate Car or a Saloon Car

Driven the Corolla several times with the 1.8lt Hybrid (122bhp) and just needs a little bit more power, which is what the New 2.0lt (178bhp) engine has answered to =D>

Not driven the New Mazda 3 yet, but will do when am ready to order one and will do a back to back test drive on both cars :thumleft:
