Greetings all,
I'm also in Scotland, close to Aberdeen. My RX8 (Kuro 335) is SORNed at the moment and I'm thinking of putting it back on the road this year. It was in decent working order when I took it off the road 5 years ago, though the acceleration had become a little sluggish compared with what it had been.
Can anyone recommend a good rotary garage near Aberdeen? Of course, I know of Rotary Revs near Leeds, but am wondering if there's a good service available a bit closer to me.
Thanks in advance...

Hi and Kuro 335 I think Rotary Revs is the specialist closest to Scotland (according to this map showing known specialists at least https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... 333797&z=6 ), but there are some individuals who know what they're doing and will service cars. If you're on Facebook there is a Scottish group - get on there and ask for Ben Taylor https://www.facebook.com/groups/407026602828955/about

There isn't much that a decent non rotary mechanic couldn't tackle, so if you have a trusted mechanic you'll be ok, obdii diagnostics still work the same, the ECU still read/control the same information (fuel, spark, crank/eccentric shaft position) apart from the engine the rest of the car is just a car like any others.
