Just Brought my first 231 project

hi been after one for years and now at last got one will put some photos up soon light blue 04 reg brought blind but only paid £1200 so took a chance
when i picked it up it had a hunting on tick over very up and down i was told about this so ok onthe drive home any thing below 2.5k was horrible
drove at 4k as sweet as after about 15 miles i gave it full beans and god i love it
when i got home i had a good look at it and its got a cold air intake and after market silencer dont know about a decat will look tomorow but the conectors on the mass air flow havebeen hacked about and one is almost snapped so thats the first job but there is a plug next to it left off is this air temp will try to get a manuall to help only thing i can think is it had a piggy back ECU will upload photos as soon as i can work it out

If its a green connector you're referring to its the connector for the VFAD which a CAI won't make use of. If you join the club however you get all the technical documentation access etc. Completely worth while by leaps and bounds!

What CAI is it do you know? Also sorting out the MAF wiring is definitely a good idea.
