Hi All,
First post so apologies if this isn't the right place for it.
I recently noticed that the oil was low in my RX8, and shortly after the engine warning light appeared. I have topped the oil up, but the warning light remains. The car fires up and drives but there is a real lack of power. It chugs along on 2nd gear even when I am flooring the thing. Up until this point the car was driving fine without any real issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Definitely nothing to do with the oil.
Read the error code, it's the only way of knowing what it actually is.

Sounds like a possible blocked cat.. when were the coils changed .. get an OBD reader on it,to stop the guesswork

Hi and CLX002. As above, you need to get a code reader on it to find out what may be wrong. If you don't have your own code reader there may be someone nearby who can help (add your location into your profile too, someone local who can help may see this) - see the list here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=36525&start=275
