froggy in PZ
A frenchie in PZ
I now own a pz for one year.
The garage did a lot of things about mechanics. And now it is totaly renovated in a bodyworshop because the PZ was highly dusted. She is at the bodyworkshop for more than two months now.
The garage is searching a rear subframe and i think that it's time to change the PZ suspension also.
I read that a group by has started one year ago, is it still ongoing and how i can join it?
it goes without saying that i am mad of this car and will show it in a major event at the end of april.
I try to keep it stock as possible which is not easy for a pz
I have also spend dozens of hours refitting the video/hifi sound system by my own.

Re: froggy in PZ
The PZ group buy has ended but there may be people who sign-up, paid and have taken delivery but their plans have changed, so be willing to sell to you.
Alternatively, the Owners Club ordered some extra sets as stock for the Club Shop, so members could buy in the future.
These sets haven't appeared in the shop yet, as the storage and shipping logistics are still being worked out.
I suggest you;
A - post on the group buy thread asking if anyone has changed their plans
B - Join the Owners Club and keep an eye on the Club Shop to see when the stock units appear - though there should also be an announcement in the members-only section
For a "froggy", your English is better than some of the rosbif that post on here

Re: froggy in PZ
Hi Syracuse,
We have a place near Bergerac which is some way from you.
I don’t see many RX-8’s in France they seem to be super rare.
I’ve sent you a message in your pm box.
I tried to join the French forum once but could never log on to it.
Regards
Pete

Re: froggy in PZ
Hi Pete, i've answered you (PM).
Bergerac is a very poetic place to live.
There are less and less RX8 in France due to the motors which are dying, and dust.
Facilities capable to rebuild it are in UK and this car is frightening buyers now.
Therefore you will see less and less RX8 and it will become a car for collectors.
That's weird that you couldn't join the french forum...

Good to see you joined the club Syracuse, welcome. I used to live in Lyon, in the 3rd arrondissement in a tiny apartment. Man I miss that beautiful region!
Really looking forward to seeing you and your car in person

Oh that's funny i had some tiny flats for renting previously, exactly in the 3rd arrondissement. What was the name of your street?
Don't hesitate to PM to get my mobile phone.

Re: froggy in PZ
So the garage found a rear sub frame in good shape, a member here provided a full set of suspension and i found a cat back. So the PZ is about to be fully renovated and leave the garage to mine in less than two weeks.
Will post some photos later.
Thank you everybody to have helped to save a PZ

Re: froggy in PZ
Things are going well. My garage received the rear subframe, so now he has everything in order to finish the car. Hope to get back my car after three months of absence.
