Hello Everyone!

I joined this weekend gone after a warm welcome onto stand at the very last moment - JDM COMBE 2024!

I've posted a photo of my Aurora Blue R3 (64k miles)

I'm new to forums and especially posting, slowly working my way through the site and having a good browse..!!

Looking forward to meeting you all on my travels and at the next event I'm available.

Advan Racing GT Beyond 18" x 8.5" Wheels
Braided brake lines (Blue of course, haha)
Japspeed Sports Cat (Going back to OEM shortly)
Full RGB underglow
Touchscreen head unit

Planned Mods/Upgrades (In order)
R Magic or APR Wing (Can't decide between)
Catback system (once OEM midpipe reinstalled)
2012 Spirit R tail lights (leds are on their way out!)

Great to see you on the stand and now a member. Apologies I may not have got to you to say welcome. It was a busy weekend and many people over the 3 events in 2 days.

+1 for an APR GTC 200 wing on a blue R3. If you're going for it, make sure you get the rx-8 specific fitment mounts, as they should bolt straight up to your original R3 wing holes.

Harry I think you've sold it for me. I had no idea how it would look other than messing about on Gran Turismo 7 with the customisation hahaha!

APR it is. I'll make sure to get the correct mounts too.

It's really expensive at over a grand - but well worth it if that's the way you wanna go as they're a really sturdy and strong wing. Having the mounts out wide on the original holes too means it doesn't flex at all on the bootlid like some of the more centrally mounted ones do - and I can say from experience I could slam the boot as hard as physically possible and it wouldn't bounce, wobble or anything. Honestly? Best big wing I've seen or experienced on an 8 imo.

Having shared a message with Harry on this I too am now sold, also now finding this thread and also been wisely advised on where NOT to buy it from where should I go, any suggestions?

Mainly MX5 parts as far as I can ascertain, definitely do not sell the APR GTC-200 rear wing
