So it's been awhile since I posted here, he's been sitting far too long with a full tank of fuel after blowing a tyre, currently looking a bit sorry for himself with mismatched wheels. I have plans but waiting for eBay auctions to see what's what, whatever they get replaced with has to be wide obvs. As it's been sat for a few months now what should I do to get it back on the road safely, turning over by hand before firing that sort of thing?

Make sure battery is FULLY charged, then spin the engine over for a couple of 10 second bursts, with throttle floored.
This is deflood mode, so fuel is cut-off, engine won't start but it should get oil circulated.

Then start as normal, including the usual wait between ignition on, and turn to start, to allow all the pre-flight checks to complete - passenger airbag light is a good indicator.

Thanks Dave, last time I started it it was a bit tappy until it warmed up and thought there must be a better way, luckily I've recently bought a battery charger/conditioner. I forgot it does the fuel cut off, thought id be cranking it by hand! Cheers, just need to decide on wheels now

FINALLLLY got some adapters for it, it's only been 7 months! Now need to find the missing V5 and slowly get bits ready for getting it on the road in spring. Hopefully it will feel like 'mine' then
