No option for 'their'.

I do premix. No great science behind it, other than it feels the right thing to do in an engine designed to burn oil for lubrication.

Not that it really matters to your poll, but I wonder if there's a difference between S1 and R3 owners in use of pre-mix?

I never used Pre-Mix on either RX-8 I owned, as couldn't see the point in it and felt it was a complete waste of money :!:

Just made sure that I filled up with good quality Fuel instead :P

I guess that there has been a pole thread on this about once every 2-3 years, though the housekeeping on the forum removes threads that have gone stale over a period on time, especially in the General RX8 Discussions and I'm New Here sections.

Personally I don't understand what the perceived value is of these poles.

There are already many threads on the potential benefits of premixing and a poll on "Do you or don't you" has very little statistical value, even when you're giving the respondents the option to say why.

search.php?keywords=premix

I'm not trying to stifle debate but surely we can find something new and interesting to talk about, rather than reanimating the dead?

Look out for "Do you like Marmite/Nutella" polls ;)

Pre mixing with idemtsu oil. Designed specifically for rotary engines. If it's good enough for the 787B it's good enough for me!
Available from Essex rotary
