Body kits for series 1

Post by shifty » Tue Oct 21, 2014 4:12 pm

Ok noticed a few posts asking where to get a bodykit but it never states what kit they want because they either dont know what they want or dont know the name of the kit so here is a compilation pic of most of the S1 kits there are a few missing and a couple are discontinued .

Just makes things easier if they wanna know where to get it from because I found even when you import some places are better then others for certain kits.
Plus it may vary the styles aero kit and Mazdaspeed to some more interesting and individual setups.

Nice one Greg and as you say people might be a bit more adventurous in their choose of bodykit and might even mix and match and make a truely unique RX8.

I've got one of those that we managed to get across to NI with us, without damage.

Still waiting to put on the car as other things having been taking priority.

Managed to get some side skirts from CarLovingCriminals, so will fit/paint all in one go.

Already running the Mazdaspeed front dam so, hopefully, it should look okay from most angles.

These look awesome , there's about 8 of them I love the style of.. my car came with the standard splitter/ extra trim items and metal accents etc, but bits are missing and these body kits really suit the car. Oh and I do think the rear of the car suits a spoiler, which mine has not got.

Hijacking this thread a little, an anyone say what body kit this is?

I think it's a Mazdaspeed copy.

Now back to one, a white R3, plus a Honda Accord winter car. Gone but not forgotten: 04 Tit Grey 231, 06 Copper Red Evolve (231), 09 VR R3, 10 Aurora Blue R3, 06 Black PZ; RX87 project car ;-( ; 04 White with Greddy turbo conversion ;-(

Buying a used RX8 turbo is like marrying a stripper.
Beware - older people may be cr@p drivers but they can afford better lawyers

I saw a kit a little while ago that made the front end look like that of the new MX-5, and I rather liked it. Do you think I can find that picture again? Not a chance. Anyone on here happen to know which one I'm talking about? Pretty sure it was a highly expensive Japanese kit, and I saw someone on here share it a few months back. That's all I've got though...
