right my review

Its awesome.

Press loud pedal.

Loud noise comes.

Gormless cheshire cat grin.

Traffic.

Repeat.

But no, its brilliant, and louder. Not excessive though and being a young 'un its to my limits and tastes, just. I worry a header will push me over the edge now.

But, I'll give it some time to settle in. And sure enough I seem to have some slightly unusal noises, and slightly more annoyingly the odd rattle? :-k

But, Shifty did mention he go these so, I'll put it down to new fitting, fancy ass resonator and bedding in time required.

It pops and bangs now and makes me grin

And its not become raspy like I had feared. Its got slightly raspier with the AEM, and this amplified it so slightly. But it still sounds refined and awesome. Bring on the TUNNEL RUN! And we'll see whats what

Yeah I get the rattle not totally sure what causes it but there is a couple simple solutions the yanks have come up with A=use the original tension springs there a bit stronger B= change the hangers (im not sure if they mean longer or tougher) C=Let it settle in them reseat it.
Havent had a chance to try any of these but I maybe getting some hardered hangers from race roots.

No CEL. But it could appear in time according to people on the RX8club. But the cobb access port will sort it, or some sparkplug foulers....

Out of curiousty Shifty, did yours bed in and settle down at all? Or is it still as loud as when you put it on?

Mine is remeniscent of when I first fitted my Borla, but that settled in nicely......

I wouldnt say it quietened down but the tone smoothed out alot it was a little raspy at first took a few weeks though but as I stated before I still have that annoying rattle coming from the joint between the catback and the midpipe im hoping to get under the car this weekend and have a play.

ah right thats good, as I think its a little too raspy atm. Although no where near as bad as any other decat or hi flow out there. So I'll let it settle. As my Borla, seemed really raw for the first few weeks.....
