RB REVi question

The RB REVi induction kit has an optional ram air intake, it seems opinion on the benefit of the ram air is a bit split, so my question is... is the ram air accessory needed? and What are the pros/cons of it?

I have the K&N Typhoon right now, and am considering a change to the REVi to see what the difference is (in the name of science)

pro... it "rams" more air into the intake thats cold. so allegedly more power.

Cons. it costs even more money.

Yeah but you need the Ram Air kit so you can say....."It has a Cold Air Ram.......it's really cool...... and it might add more power to the engine maybe .....i think.......It looks good though!"

On the serious side Mine has the ram kit, Have I noticed massive power gains? ........No.

Have I had any issues with the engine as a result of fitting it?........No

Would I be without it?.........No

Can I explain why that is?.............No

I am getting a custom one made up in the next few weeks so will let you know the outcome.

should come to around £140 hopefully

that'll be an enclosed kit
