Fitting a GT86 frameless rear view mirror to an RX8

Post by Dr. FrankenRex » Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:37 pm

Hey peeps,

I put a video together on fitting a frameless rear view mirror in to an RX8 for user Keke, however it may be of use or interest to others so thought I'd post it here too!

Cheers,
Dr.F

Thank you for that.

Now all I need is someone to distract Nigel so I can nick his. . . . .

. . . . but he’s too good a bloke to do that to, so I’ve ordered a mirror off eBay for £52.80.

Now back to one, a white R3, plus a Honda Accord winter car. Gone but not forgotten: 04 Tit Grey 231, 06 Copper Red Evolve (231), 09 VR R3, 10 Aurora Blue R3, 06 Black PZ; RX87 project car ;-( ; 04 White with Greddy turbo conversion ;-(

Buying a used RX8 turbo is like marrying a stripper.
Beware - older people may be cr@p drivers but they can afford better lawyers

Surprised no-one asked why Nigel requires a panoramic blind spot mirror... I can guarantee that it's not for its intended usage.
