A friend and I are looking to experiment with spraying some body panels ourselves. He has spray guns (so no rattle cans!), a workshop full of equipment and we'd like to try it and start to learn.
Does anyone have any recommendations of quality car paint suppliers that they've used before? We'll be looking to colour match according to paint code, but may need to tweak it as the panels will be matched to an existing paint job that's a few years old.
(Mods, feel free to move this. Didn't know where best to put it)

Shambo does some bodywork as well, he's probably got different distributors but could advise on the manufacturer.

Just look for your local AutoPaint factors where the local repairers go, if a paint factors is poor they would not be in business.

Local is always best, as you can walk in with a body panel (fuel filler flap?) and have them make up to match

Thanks a lot guys. Very helpful. I've asked Adam and he's finding some stuff out for me Gary.
Wish us luck that we don't make a pigs ear of it.
