No time to clean today, but pulled the cover off ready to hit road in morning. Once the little man's in bed I will get back out to check oil and tyre pressures ready for an 0900 leave in morning. Says approx 1hr50 to the pub start for me, but I'll be taking a steady plod along the A55 and M56. 3/4 of a tank, wander if I can do the 100 miles each way and drive on it......

I'm going to get through a lot of fuel! Filled up in Milton Keynes this morning. Will do the MK social tonight and then drive up the M1. Fair chance I'll need to refuel before we do the run, and will definitely need to top up before the return journey to Reading.

My car hasn't been cleaned in a while and black cars are the worst for dirt.

Only prep I've done is inflate my tyres. Could do with looking into why my rear left brake is making noises, but oh well

Car cleaned, oil checked, screenwash topped up... About to depart for a longish drive up. Hopefully I don't hit too much traffic!

Just got to the travelodge. 😂 My maps decided to die on the m60 so Id missed the junction I needed by 2! Only a 5 to 10 minute detour thankfully.

Just under 230 miles.. And a quarter of a tank left.. Going to be a trip to the fuel station tomorrow morning.. Then probably fill up before going home.

Also arrived at a Travelodge having driven 80 miles full of my first Xmas dinner of the year at the MK meet. Get to drive across the Peaks coming from the South East in the morning. Should take about 70 minutes.

It's the Bucks/Bed/Herts/Northants meet. Is on the forum. Wasn't a proper Xmas meet, but the pub has already started offering a festive menu.

We arrived last night after a pretty much straightforward journey up M5 & M6 to our friends b&b near Ashbourne. Says just over an hours drive to the pub.

Car is still kinda shiny

Great day as always 😊

Mini convoy with Harry to start the day, assistant secretary face planted into a puddle (which she thought was hilarious), awesome drive, great food, better company 🥰

Only thing missing was Flos 😔 She won't miss the next one!

Agreed. It was a good day, shame the weather didn't play ball and the semi slicks only had 1 or 2 moments of worry.

Enjoyed the drive, if there is a way to miss out that town centre next time somehow it would be good. Really enjoyed the food though, having poked my head in to ask for Ollies cake, very impressive by the x1 young chef working in there with our large group and a full bar. Lawrence please extend our thanks for the effort the venue put in to sort us out. Was well worth the food price.

Apologies to those I did not get chance to speak to fully for catch ups, it sounded like you all had a good chat while we were in the meeting. It worked well to have the CMs together and with something more than just driving a long way to sit in a conference room, was nice to have an event though the downside was missing the socialising in-between. Drive and food.

I actually remembered some pictures of my car this time:
