Somebody asked me about the windscreen suction mount I use for my phone... I've apparently had since 2005(!).
Its a "Herbert Richter GLOBAL 4 Extendible Windscreen Suction Mount/Tower Mount" - and I believe I've got bicycle handbar version too - as the 'mount plate' is interchangeable between them...

Though they still seem to be in production / on sale, this specific telescopic version does not appear to be; but other alternatives are... Avoid non-rigid 'goose necks' (ask how I know). As well as the mount - the face-plate for different phone / tablets sizes - with and without power options - is available too...
I'm fact before getting into Android Phones I had a powered mount for a Dell Axim PDA I used with TomTom for navigation!

Thanks, It was me, but I’ve decided to purchase some 3M double sided sticky pads designed for dash cams to stick suction cup onto base plastic disc already stuck on top of dashboard, fingers crossed
