I see the note about plus one! My wife Debbie will be with me, we are booked into a B&B in Matlock for 3 nights, so we can enjoy a few days away from grandchildren!

Just to get it out there, shouldn't there be a link from the club calendar to the topic as there is for the Shropshire meet. I had to go to advanced search to find this and that's only because i knew it was happening. A bump may help for now.

Exactly the reason I've been pushing to get events and Meets on to Facebook. Yes all planning and information should be on the Forum, but Fb is an instant important tool which can direct you to further details on the Forum. I agree that the Forum is a bit of rabbit Warren for some of the RX8OC members and often takes sometime to get a reply.

Odds are after realising where the start location is I may show up later on in the loop as that’s a lot of driving (2.5Hr each way doesn’t sound so bad but “new driver with anxiety”) so that’ll be an “on the day” attitude so naturally don’t worry about food for me, I’ll just bring a packed lunch
