I see from the AM thread that the Yakushi car show may be considering a different location next year. Strangely enough, i was contacted by the head of events for Le Mans asking whether i would consider changing the date of the ramp day so as not to conflict with theirs. When i said that we were to far in for 2024, we agreed to work more closely together for 2025 so as to avoid a clash, after which we both offered to promote each others event, exchanged numbers and parted on good terms.

Could do with some help here with updating the first post. Andy/ Metelyk would be happy with a roof and a rug overnight and i am not sure about Azam. Also, i will try to organise the friday before meet up to take place at the Queens Head which you southern chaps would be passing on your way here anyway thus avoiding some travel for you, thanks in advance, rob.

Highly unlikely I will require the ramp btw thanks Rob, other than perhaps a quick look to ensure rust remains at bay if its vacant for a period of time, however I'm Krown proofed so would more to check that's holding up for 5 mins.

Also no need to stay, I can make the 20 min drive home but will go for a drive out pending timings on that? Are we looking at meeting our English counterparts for an escort in drive to end at yours or a start/finish from yours?

I have a Wurth pump bottle which I use to “top up” the treatment as and when I am under the car. Alternatively you can buy aerosol cans from Krown.

Thanks Chris, I'm likely going to nip to Roberts every 2-3 years for a full work of protection so hoping a top up isn't needed as it's likely only 3-4k miles between full applications. Though I have no doubt he has done a good job and the product works, it's more of a confidence check that nothing is creeping in or starting between the coats. Also it can get messy and I don't want to spray stuff all over Robs garage, nor be covered in it myself for the day.......though didn't you say there was a hot tub Rob? That would certainly clean me up after.....

Drew, the drive i have in mind will begin and end here on the Saturday at a time that is convenient for all of us. It is basically starting from here for Bala via Rhos y Gwalia, stop by Bala lake for a bit and then returning here over the Berwyns.
What may be useful would be if someone could produce a route map to go on here. I will have a word with my lad to see if he can help me out.

I had a visit from my mate Agnetha yesterday to use the ramp. It was good to see that the welding we did 3 years ago is as good today as it was then.
Rust proofing repairs as soon as they are done certainly works. Agnetha also arrived here and returned home using the route i have planned above, and confirmed that it is stunning.
