It is possible to remove the solenoids with the upper inlet manifold in place but would take too many words to describe how so I will just have to show you on Saturday.

Do you reckon we'll be able to bleed the clutch line on the day? I've not got any decent tools for bleeding it is all, I do have replacement fluid however

The solenoid replacement isn't that hard even with removing the upper intake manifold(just have to be careful with the fuel line clips they like to go missing if you don't watch them, just like a 10mm socket)

Despite the excellent food, use of a ramp and a brilliant drive out, by far the biggest contribution to a great day were the people who attended.
Despite many of us not knowing everyone, there was an instant camararderie from the get go, making everyone feel included, so thanks to you lot for a brilliant day, thoroughly enjoyed by all, rob.

Great to see the pictures of the local area, and hear that everyone got on well in a successful day and event. Well done Rob for organising a large social evening and event today.

Luckily I did pull out when I did, as I've woken this morning potentially with a touch of Covid? Not sure, but I was awoken at 3am with some breathing issues and coughing. Stayed up a few hours and have been coughing all day. I certainly would not of wished to bring this along to dampen the festivities. Luckily I seem to be bouncing back this evening, to be ready in time for a full weekend of RX8 foolery at Dan and Seans events next weekend.

Well the above would be true if it had a supercharger upper inlet manifold. Damn I forgot that little detail!

Great day and good to catch up with people. Rob and Awella are great hosts at their fabulous location.
The day started with drizzle which Rob said not to worry about it will go and it did.
The two shots of Lake Bala were taken just 3 minutes apart!
Fantastic roads through forests of huge pine trees and over the mountains.
The front bumper shot is Sagahrs missing badge with one feather left by the pigeon he murdered on the drive up!
