Just wanted to say I have every intention on being around.. Just need to book the day off as I'm working that day and we cant book days off any earlier than 6 months before. So not long before I can put my leave application in and confirm its granted.. Azam

By the way, you don't have to turn up in an RX-8 as this is more of a social gathering for all of us

Also Rob does live in the sticks, so be warned that there are animals roaming around and therefore the roads might be mucky or a bit wet

Thanks Nige, i see Azam is a possible hopefully, would he be coming up on a stay basis?
On another note i could easily fill this meet with mates from up here, but this is run primarily for members on here. Some committee members would be good as a show of support , particularly as they have been asking for support for the events team.
In other words, get your name down before i start asking my local car mates.

The rest of us are a bit too far away to attend and I personally wouldn't want to take a space a member could use when I've got access to a couple of fully equipped workshops whenever I need them

This is the route i have planned for a drive on the ramp day. We will start at my home, Hirnant, follow the light blue route to Bala, and return on the dark blue route. Times are shown but obviously don't include stops, the scenery is clearly shown on google maps.

OK, what would be useful now would be who, of the people coming are doing the Friday meet and then staying over? Obviously there will be some who don't need to do that, but it would be useful if i can get some idea of accommodation needed and how many for the Friday meet the night before.
if the replies can be clear with your requirements , it will make organising so much easier, thanks, rob.

I may have to bring Harvey with me Rob, unless that's an issue, in which case I'd have to drop out. Looks like Naomi is working this Saturday, so me and Harvey be having a day together. He is more than happy driving about in the R3, eating, playing with cars or watching work being done or sitting playing his tablet like at shows.
