Customer Feedback.

Post by Luke M ~ (MRS) » Sun Jul 16, 2017 8:42 pm

Hello everyone,

Feedback is incredibly important to me. I am aiming to build a A* reputation and with that being said your feedback helps me with my progression. It helps me to make sure everyone is getting exactly what they want and for others to choose whether they should trust me with their pride and joy.

Some of you will know me from my page on facebook and others who don't have facebook this may be the first time you have heard of me. I am making this post so that the users that don't have facebook can take a look at the reviews left here. My facebook page currently has 60+ positive reviews.

If you have any feed back, please post it below. If you are unsatisfied with something, please can you message me so I can rectify it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Luke.

Go on then someone has to be first

Took Luke up on his offer of a Compesion Test for £25 =D>

Carried it out in a quick professional manner, also long chat ref the spares and services he can supply.

Great to have someone so local to go to carry out the work I can't (or can't be bothered) to do.

Only heard good things about this young man, fair play to him, definately will get more work from me.

Also at his rates for Compresion Tests think I'll be getting it done every 6 months.

Cheers

Finally have my aircon working again thanks to Luke =D>

He went above and beyond for me, firstly he gave me lift back to my house when I had no other easy way of getting back after I dropped the car off last Saturday evening. He then agreed to keep the car for me until today as I had work commitments. After replacing the broken parts (split pipes and condenser) he arranged to get the system re gassed for me as he knew I didn't have the time to deal with it.

There were also a few things that he noticed were out of place in my engine bay that could/would have caused failures at some point in the future. He pointed these out to me and fixed them without an issue.

All in all he offered me a very professional and stress free transaction at a very fair and reasonable fee.

Thanks

James

Met Luke at the Surrey meet and immediately clicked.

First it was the plugs, compression and my Bluetooth interface fitted to the back of the headunit.

Then front shocks and drop links.

Then the most recent service was a replacement back box exhaust.

All carried out on time, for the agreed price and with a smile to boot.

Thanks a lot for all your help, Luke.

I hope we are helping towards you getting your own workshop and that the business go from strength to strength.

Thank You Luke!

After going out on a whim and buying another RX8 (because one isn't enough!) it needed a compression test, naturally I thought as Luke is reputable and close, he'd be the best person for the job.

Well turns out he was great. Sound honest advise and someone who has a real passion and it shows.

Professional workmanship and efficiency to pair.

Thanks again and will definitely be back for more!

Thanks for the help today Luke!

Although we had to take a tough decision on the future of my Rex, we did add to the pool of resources for the future of other owners' cars.

It was good to have a detailed chat about the car and what to do with it following the compression test, I should have come to see you a bit earlier in it's life!

All the best with Murdoch's Rotary Spares.

Cheers,

Warren.

Thanks a lot for your work on my car at the weekend Luke; Compression test; fitted Delphi fuel pump assembly and wrestled with my Cat/Decat! =D>

You gave great customer service, you did your utmost to fit me in and gave some great advice too. I thoroughly recommend your work.

Pretty happy with the comp test results on my 71k motor - Front - 6.7, 7.0, 7.4 Back 7.5, 7.4, 7.7 :D

When I return to Blyton in Sept it will be really interesting to see if the new Delphi fuel pump assembly makes any difference to the fuelling issue I was getting round Lancaster last year.

I hope your drill bits have recovered from drilling out the seized studs on my old cat too!! Thanks a lot!!

Where to begin......

I first met Luke at the Cobham meet pretty much a year to this day!! (how time flies!!) and I have to say what a nice fella! :thumright:

I find myself always irritating him with my RX8 queries and it's never too much trouble even if he's busy I know he will get back to me same day or the next. His pricing is very competitive and never had any issues with anything I have bought from him as he only sells something that he would be happy to buy and fit to his own car.

Just this past year I have seen his business grow and grow and when dealing with him it's clear to see why. Whenever I pop round to pick something up or need advice/diagnostics I always find myself spending over an hour just chatting about cars and what the next mod will be lol. Be warned he is a terrible influence!! lmao

A good example of Luke going above and beyond on customer service was last year after only owning my 8 for a couple of months the moment we all dread and hope will never happen happened to me while I was coming up the A3 from Emsworth I lost compression. Stuck on the hard shoulder I gave Luke the distress signal he ran through a few diagnostics over the phone, even though he was in the middle of dinner lol, he then wanted to confirm the worst and drove all the way down to me, (about 35 miles from Guildford) bearing in mind this was around 7pm on a Sunday as well, he than ran a compression test on the hard shoulder and confirmed no compression on the rear rotor. #-o  he then contacted a couple of recovery guys he uses and arranged to get my car home not only that he then insisted on waiting with me until the recovery truck appeared which was around 11:30pm!! I won't go into too much more detail but Luke helped and advised me through things to check while sorting out getting it rebuilt as it had just gone past the warranty period, TYPICAL I know!! Luke told me it wasn't a big deal but to me, and I know others, this sort of thing is a big deal and is just a fantastic example of the customer service Luke is always striving to achieve.

It's been a pleasure dealing with you over the past year and will continue to do so for the foreseeable even if the 8 goes I will be keeping in contact!

=D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I'll get round to a proper review later on but for now:

I've spoken to Luke a couple of times in the past and it's great to see him join us on the forum.

I stopped by earlier this week... after getting MASSIVELY delayed due to various mishaps and leaving him wait, totally my fault but he was cool about it, really appreciate that dude!
Had a good snoop around his collection to pick out some bits to box up and take home with me, really happy with what I've got and the price I paid :thumleft:

Finally had the chance to have a proper chat with him as well and I like his attitude to the way he works =D> keep it up and hopefully see you again sometime soon.

Luke helped me look over my first rx8 purchase; I had of course read the RX8OC Forum top to bottom and had some guidance from Nicklaus, so whilst this feedback is primarily directed at Luke and MRS I'd like to offer a broader thanks to all forum users and a public thanks to Nicklaus for fanning the flames.

In event the forum "education" offered enough knowledge to look at rx8 adverts and be very picky. The car Luke looked at for me was the first one I had bothered to call.

Luke took the check of the potential purchase to a whole new level; finding issues and problems that I'm convinced few would have the tenacity and professionalism to find. An example was a tiny evolve badge was missing on one side - most people would either miss it or not understand the difficulty around sourcing a replacement. And whilst that's a cosmetic example Luke's approach to the mechanical was just as thorough, finding two MOT failure issues and a service issue that the current owner was clearly unaware of.

In summary Luke is professional, accommodating, engaging, technically excellent and very thorough. I should also say he is very funny and great company.

Long may MRS be successful.
Luke, you are unswervingly my first port of call for all rx8 issues (Admins: after a good scan of the RX8OC Forum of course :D). Thank you. Again.

Cheers loads,
LordLanky.

Customer Feedback.

Post by Yie » Sat Aug 19, 2017 12:44 pm

Back again with a car purchased as a project.

Thought I'd get the dreaded compression test done to see if the rebuild is an immediate necessity, this time I'm happy to say it's not. Compression isn't the highest 6's in the front low-mid 5's in the rear but she runs and drives, without any issues!

Luke again was very accommodating and had some parts I wanted to replace there and then and was able to provide sound advice and showed genuine interest in my plans.

I cannot applaud the professionalism enough. I said I'd definitely be back, I have and will for more!

So thanks again Luke!

Another big thank you to Luke for fixing my car again.

Clutch went at 1pm last Saturday right before going to donington on Monday. Luke was great, went over a few things with me over the phone and cleared his schedule to get my car over to him straight away. Luckily euro car parts had a clutch in stock which Luke reserved for me. Luke then fitted it and replaced my slave cylinder as that was knackered too. Everything done by that evening.

Got to the track day and had an awesome time despite all the issues I had beforehand. This saturday Luke had the car back to install a braided clutch line, master cylinder and change the gearbox oil for MT90.

The car is now 100% again and I'm absolutely thrilled.

Exceptional customer service Pete. I feel very lucky to have made the track day. It was a present from work for 10 years service and I would have been absolutely gutted if I had missed it.

Thank you James for the kind feedback you have left me. As always, it was an absolute pleasure and I'm glad to see you make the track day. You had explained to me that the track day was a gift from your work and I couldn't see you not attend it! I was set on getting your vehicle fixed and having you make the track. I will always do my best to help my customers.

Pete, thank you for the kind comment :) .

Thank you for the kind review Michael. It was a pleasure to carry out the work on your vehicle :thumright: . It was unfortunate that the PPF bolt + nut had been previously ruined but we got there in the end :thumleft: . Once I saw the bolt and nut I knew this was going to be an interesting job  .

Your always welcome back and I look forward to seeing you again.
