Group Buy RRP MKII Coils - Closed

Post by Ryan Rotary Performance » Fri Jul 26, 2019 6:34 pm

Thank you all for coming on board with this GB, I now have everyone's details so thanks for that. Over the next few days I'll start invoicing, while I have enough coils and sparks for everyone the Ignition leads are in short supply (I think only 5 sets left) more are on order and have been for a while so shouldn't be too long now. I'll prioritise those on the list first for Leads.

10% off for over 15 orders: This would mean a discounted price of £246 plus P&P (£12)

Extras:

MSD leads £75
Spark Plugs £80

1. Honkytonk - Coils, Leads, Sparks - Delivered
2. V8 Power - Coils, Leads, Sparks - Details Received / Invoiced / Paid / Collecting

So just to be clear the top line price is the standard normal price as per the RRP website.
Does the 10% come off the leads and/or spark plugs as well if purchased?

I am having some anyway so put me down for coils, leads and plugs please.

Yes so the discounted price is £246.

I have added a blanket small discount to the leads and sparks

Oof. I wonder if I can manage these. Hmm. I know for certain I have at least one coil on the way out.. The question is a matter of time to save up the £246 vs the coil going completely dead.. Risky business me thinks.

Yeah I know. Its just getting the money together for it. Currently its more likely that I can afford the OEM Genuines off Dern than it is that I can afford a set of these. But maybe I can figure something out.

Put me down for coils for definite, and I'll confirm at the weekend for sparks and leads. (Need to ensure there's nothing overly expensive outbound this month!)

Yorindesarin, am in a similar situation to you I think. I'm seeing it as an investment over a longer period for some proper quality stuff that lasts the distance as opposed to paying similar price for some OEM ones that will need replacing much sooner.

Yeah the thing is that the ones coming off Derns car are genuine OEMs with Magnacor leads for £150.. with low mileage. Thats pretty hard to beat... Tis a toss up! I dont want my engine to die obviously.. But it all comes down to what I can manage realistically. The leads on my car are also crappy right now! :( Tis such a toss up! Working all the overtime to try to get money heh.

I don't want to dissuade you from buying from Dern. But...

Don't :censored: around when it comes to coils. Especially if you know one of them is bad already. Just take a week off the booze/fags/hookers to save the extra money. And if your leads are crappy then swap those as well... quick.

And do Dern's come with a lifetime warranty?

Yeah I know not to mess about with coils. Warranty is also probably also a factor too tbh. And I don't drink or smoke. I'm already saving up hard as it is. 😂 It's just taking longer than I want it to! Last month was new tyres and 4 wheel wheel alignment which set me back 500 quid so I'm still recovering currently. But I have a hundred quid coming in from where I sold my ps4 to a mate soon etc so RRP coils could be what I go for.

I haven't really thought of a timescale, but expecting about a month, when we get 15 I'll give a weeks notice to close the group-buy.

Second the bump. If you need coils, now is the time to get some! If you don't need coils, then get some of these anyway as by all reports they're way better than the OEM!
