About Ryan Rotary Performance

Post by Ryan Rotary Performance » Sat Jan 28, 2017 3:42 pm

So just to say a little hello and introduce Ourselves :thumleft:

Most of you will know me as MadTaz. I've owned my Mazda Rx8 for over 10 years now which has gone through several stages of modification, around 4 years ago I started doing engine rebuilds for friends etc behind the scenes, my brother too got involved and he especially was hooked on engine building.

We feel the time is right now to open up as a trader on this forum to push our company to the next stage.

So what do we offer?

Engine rebuilds and modifications including full balancing and rotor housing refurbishment.

ECU remapping and compression tests.

OEM and aftermarket products. I have already released two of my own products which include an MSD coil set up and Pettit pulley upgrade for their supercharger.

What is there to look forward to?

Well my brother and I both have our own projects, I have a supercharged Rx8 and he has a hybrid Rx7/8 engine turbo project both will be out this year and mine will be on the road in a month or two. :D

We are developing new engine mounts at the moment.

We are also going to release another coil system substantially cheaper than our current offering.

More details can be found on our website and Facebook page.

Re the coils. Why offer a cheaper alternative? Cheaper usually means inferior.

Other companies offer different level coils to differing budgets and requirements and this is exactly what I'm doing.

I realise the MSD system is very expensive and is aimed at those with serious modifications or FI, it is also aimed at those who want a "branded" coil so they know exactly what they are getting.

The newer lower price system will be my own brand of coil with thinner possibly MSD 8.5mm ignition leads as apposed to the MSD 10mm.

These will be aimed at those who want a good reliable system but at the price or possibly cheaper then the OEM version. I expect to have the first batch ready for April.

They will come with a lifetime guarantee and will be tested prior to release obviously.

I can vouch for the 8.5mm MSD leads - I've had them on mine, along with the BennettBuilt LS2(D585) coils, for over 3½ years.. :thumleft:
