If someone wants to CAD me up an engine block with the lower intake and the important mounting points, I wouldn't say no! :)

so then you'll have a CAD model of the real thing?

one thing to be aware of though is any scan only produces a lightweight body so you won't be able to measure off it CAD but you can overlay it into your assembly to check mounts and clearances
