JR Motorworx soon to be LTD.

Post by jrmurray1108 » Wed Nov 22, 2017 10:05 pm

So...

Chris Holmes sent me a message earlier insinuating that I was bankrupt. Not only did this deeply offend me it could be potentially damaging so it would be prudent to 'nip it in the bud' at this stage. As I'm sure you are all aware the insolvency register can be checked at any time, I can assure you all I am not on it. [-X

Funnily enough I am also still trading, I'm sure a few 7 and 8 owners on here will testify, some even attending the recent car limits day and many sporting new Kicker Audio installs, lightweight flywheels, clutches and holding fresh MOT certificates. :thumright:

Now that's cleared up for the benefit of the gossipers (or Chris) I'll move on.

Other than personal projects I will be stepping away from the paint side of the business, the reason being the number of issues I had with a previous painter leaving me with 9 full rectification resprays at a personal cost of over £20k.

With this in mind I needn't operate from such a large unit so have sold up and sign a lease on a more suitable unit in Jan.

To co-incide with the move I shall be limiting the company to minimise the personal risk, I have been sorely bitten once already.

In the meantime I can't sit around so am running a large commercial garage and bodyshop in Exeter offering the same services (excluding paint) as always. The pay is a nice bonus too :)

Primarily at the new unit my main focus will be

Repairs and Maintenance
Sales and installation of aftermarket parts
Audio upgrades and installs

I will also be working with a number of cars for next years show season including my RX7, predominantly wide arched and heavily customised, these will all be based around famous tobacco brands as such, will not be able to be featured in many mags or articles.

Hope that clears things up for those that know me or for those whom I have done work for.... for those that don't, ignore all the above, hello, and if you need any rotary stuff doing and are in and around Devon hit me up, I'd be happy to help

Love to all, well most of you... See you at Coombe 8)
Jay

Well it was a PM Jay just saying you forgot "bankrupts" in your JDM Day post and would have stayed private had you not chosen to post it.

I got the implied meaning, hence the post to clarify the situation. Funny how things spread and get out of hand and taken out of context very quickly... quite libellous some would say.

Glad you popped up to defend it though, solidifies everything nicely.

Cheers Nigel, I still have access to paint(ers) at my current work place. It's where I'll be doing the project stuff, happy to do bits and bobs just not full projects or resprays (for profit)
