Simply Japanese Show 2023 at Beaulieu - Sunday 23rd July

The RX-8OC will once again attend the Simply Japanese Car Show for 2023 having attended this since 2014 as a car club

We have done a few Events at Beaulieu in the past and it has been a great day out, something for all the family, just a great social day

Beaulieu says -
All Japanese car and motorcycle owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu on Sunday 23rd July and park up within the museum complex for what promises to be a superb day out for both Japanese vehicle owners and enthusiasts.

All Japanese models are welcome at the eighth Simply Japanese event, which is set to provide a great opportunity to admire participants cars, motorcycles and to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Old or new, heavily modified or straight from the showroom floor, you can expect to see Nissans, Hondas, Suzukis and Subarus amongst the many marques on display.

All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.

The People’s Choice Award ceremony will take place at 2pm. Anyone wishing to be in with a chance of winning will need to remain on site until the awards ceremony has taken place.

"Clubs are requested to arrive at the same time in order to allow our stewards to park your members faster. Please note that club areas will only be reserved until 10.30am, after this time the area will be released to other participants. Individual club members arriving after 10.30am are not guaranteed to be able to join their booked club area."

Entrance gates open at 8.30am.

Therefore, please meet at a Tescos Dibden Superstore just off the A326 (Just after Applemore Hill) from 7.45am ready to leave 8.15am sharp and convoy in together to get to the car park holding area at Beaulieu by 08:30

Admission price includes entry to all attractions at Beaulieu, anyone not arriving in a Japanese car will be sent to the main car park and pay general admission.

Entry with your Japanese vehicle is from 8.30am - 3pm.

So far , very disappointing uptake from our club members attending this event this year

Has this show lost its appeal? There is so much to see, besides some superb Japanese cars, with the house and grounds, the monorail, the museum and of course the Top Gear static show.
Not to mention the clubs legendary breakfast bacon butties and cakes.
As it’s strictly Japanese I cannot attend but hope to see some of our historic regulars supporting our stand.

Its is a bit disappointing Nigel. I thought this event was well attended usually? I was looking forward to this one now i have somewhere closer to get to it as north wales was just a bit for for this in a weekend.

I normally attend with my grandson, staying in Christchurch the night before, but this year I have booked for the Drive Limits Day at North Weald which it turns out is on the Monday and the logistics just don’t work as I need to travel down to North Weald on the Sunday night otherwise I would be at Beaulieu.

I mean i can bring 3 new Yaris GRs with me from the area, hardly RX8s though but would get the numbers up

As club chairman you can of course do this I am sure the Yaris GRs will attract extra attention not being lost in a sea of GRs.
Obviously the usual £5 non member charge needs to be levied to cover the bacon rolls and cakes etc.
