Obviously I'll be interested in this!

Haven't been in Kerry in years, so would be great to go there again. Great roads which would really suit the 8.

Drinking lots of beer and talking with fellow enthusiasts sounds like a great time to me

2017 Southern Ireland Trip

Post by GreySilver Beast » Sun May 29, 2016 12:00 pm

I chose 4 days over a Weekend to saves our Members taking to much time off Work and also trying to keep the cost down =D>

The Trip's main purpose is to Meet up with our Irish Members and all have a good time driving some of the fantastic roads around the area :P

Sorry not living in Wales I wasn't aware the distance involved with going to Holyhead for the Ferry,so would be the other port in Wales instead now, which I believe is Fishguard to Rosslare Harbour :thumright:

I would still like to visit Dublin while over there though,so would need to somehow fit that all in #-o

I was also thinking more along the lines of a Base Hotel where we can drive from near the Cork Area to see our Irish Members and enjoy the Roads/Scenery on each of the days =D>

Anyway this is only to gage interest from our Members to the possible Trip across the Irish Sea :P

I haven't seen the Cliffs of Moher at all. Three times I've been there, three times it's been thick fog.

I reckon you're making it up and there's a bloke with a smoke machine at the end of the car park.

Fishguard isn't great for anyone "up North". In fact even from Suffolk I've gone for Holyhead in the past.

Probably best wait until enough people have stated an interest and then ask which route is preferred.

We we're only discussing going to Ireland the other day, this might be ideal. We'll probably stay a bit longer and make a week of it.
Put me and Tracey on the list.
