Breakfast Run III 5 Aug

Post by BIGWITHEY » Wed Jul 04, 2007 11:55 pm

I think we'll have another go at this
An early start should mean very little traffic and some great roads with bacon n eggs by the sea.
You know what to do...

Yet another date I can't do. First Sunday of Cowes Week, so assuming the boat is repaired by then I will be having bacon and eggs by the sea for 9 days, and then floating around on it!

......but, on the other hand, if the new mast isn't ready, or the keel hasn't been straightened, or some more serious structural damage is found, then I'll be there.

Boats and rocks don't mix! and if I am able to do it I promise to take the tow hitch off!

Sorry Stavs, but if you click the links above and take the time to read the posts I think it gives you more than just a vague idea of what happens on the 'Breakfast Runs', along with lots of photos to give you a flavour of things.

First paragraph of the second link as above says it all really.

"Anyone fancy breakfast?
6.30am start for a nice run on quiet deserted camara free roads down through Surrey / Sussex via Goodwood and some other interesting spots.
We'll be starting near Jct 9 of the M25 and should be tucking into bacon n eggs about 8.30ish."
Now a distant memory unfortunately.
