Breakfast Run 4th June

Post by BIGWITHEY » Wed Apr 05, 2006 11:32 pm

Anyone fancy breakfast?
6.30am start for a nice run  on quiet deserted camara free roads down through Surrey / Sussex via Goodwood and some other interesting spots.
We'll be starting near Jct 9 of the M25 and should be tucking into bacon n eggs about 8.30ish.

I`m up for that, sounds like you`ll end up in my neck of the woods. Please post route nearer the time and I`ll join up along the way.

You would have to pick the very day that I'm playing all-day bar billiards in the Sussex Open. :(

I'll have to be at Worthing for a 10.30am start and last year we only made it to Spinnakers by about 11. So it looks as if I'll have to pass on this one.
S/Silver, 192ps, b. Jan 2004 - 22,000 miles, 1 mod only (= oil cooler protection grilles), 2 ProDrives, 12 meets. Still feels like a new car !

Just an update I've invited the MX-5, 350z and S2000 lot, so this could be the first multi-meet should be interesting
Also this is why we're calling in to Goodwood on the way back. It gets very busy so it's best to eat before we pop in

Why not!

Post by dl303 » Wed Apr 19, 2006 1:46 pm

Sounds like fun! :D

Given 350z's etc I assume my mate tagging along in his A3 3.2Q would not cause offence... We can take him in the corners but I wouldnt try a standing start in the rain - his thing is like a rocket ship!
Sadly no longer an 8 owner, but my elise SC is a fine car too - if not all that practical!

Re: Breakfast Run 4th June

Post by Chris231 » Tue Apr 25, 2006 11:13 am

Hi, just reading about the breakfast run, sounds good, especially if meeting up with the 350Z crowd (another of my favourite cars). I think I might come down for this, I like that neck of the woods, lived in Surrey for a little while. Will look at my diary and see what's on.

Christine
Titanium Grey, bling wheels (set number 6) Now gone but will never be forgotten, sat nav, I-mob tracking, SS Strakes, full set of RB grills, K&N Filter and Borla zorst. Now lowered.

Just ask me where anything is, it will be in the boot!!

Now she's "the reasonably priced car is the star" as driven by Jason Plato on Fifth Gear. :notworthy:

I've got no firm no's, I've posted the invite on their forums and there's been some ineterest but you find that people only say they'll come nearer the time
I would think we'll get a 3-4 from each of them...

Just a quick thanks to Honeyball and DogsnutsEA for joining me in a pre-run to check the route and stuff. Great morning very little traffic and some of the best roads in the South East  , in my humble opinion.

Is that a request for meeting points on the route or for the start which is a layby near Jct 9 of the M25??

The route is down towards Chichester Marina so if you can think or Liase with BigW about a rendezvous that will probably help ya.
