Re: water temps
From my recent trackday at Mallory I was advised 105c is fine, 110c it's fine but time to come in and let it cool off.
Make sure your have all the foam around the radiator as it makes a huge difference to temps.

Re: water temps
You'll be fine up at 115c too. You'll be hard pressed to get it higher than that unless it's a scorching day, or you have a fault, or you have some bananas mod that messes up airflow.
You may see coolant splatter over the engine bay. Don't worry, it's by design and just venting excess out of the overflow when v hot.
Your R3 PCM will cut the revs anyway if you really overheat it, to protect the engine. So you can push and not really worry.

Re: water temps

If you've got an aftermarket gauge, just be wary if it goes really high (120+) and then drops to below normal.
This is what happens if the engine overheats, then dumps out so much coolant that the temperature sensor is no longer wet.
Don't ask how I know this

Re: water temps
I can't promise of course. But I've pushed it into limp mode through overheat lots of times (deliberately) and touch wood haven't broken it yet.
You'll also encounter limp mode as the first symptoms of fuel starvation too. At that point be smart and come into the pits. Don't do what I did today and then do another hot lap. It didn't end well.

Re: water temps
Got hit on the way home. Hoping it's repairable as the roof isn't exactly a replaceable panel. Am very annoyed. Will give you a ring next week to catch up
