Hi all,
We all know how hot the gearbox tunnel gets, so I'm wondering if any of the hard use cars have a gearbox oil temp gauge, or a gearbox oil cooler fitted?
Over winter I'm swapping gearboxes, and if it's needed I'll retro fit one. Got to look after the fluids!
Thanks
Matt

I think most of the heat you feel is heat soak from the catalytic converter/exhaust although I've never monitored gearbox oil temp so I'm not 100%. Worth considering for something like drifting where cooling as a premium or if you've got big power going through it though.
