REIS Track insurance

Post by Zarterone »

Just a short note to people who no longer own a RX8, but are still club members

Richard Egger don't do insurance with track cover included, for any other cars, bar 2 seat sports cars( RX8 excluded )

Yes shopping trollies are quite prone to hitting real cars in car parks

But remember my Shopping trolley is both quicker in a straight line and around a track and does nearly twice the MPG.

But on a serious note, does affect other cars not just my Shopping trolley, it would affect Jang's Shopping trolley and Graham's Datsun and might affect your next car choice if you want to track it

barely faster to 60. nowhere near double mpg, faster round a track is debatable and its hideous!

sorry!

Barely faster ,is still faster  as a matter of fact its 3 seconds faster to 100MPH (stated figures on both cars)

I get 30 MPG average ,in the 8 I got 17-18 MPG

Done North Weald activity (where I agree its not a proper track) there was two courses one with tight bends the other higher speed bigger corners and the Megane beat all the RX8's including Robbies Super charged one and he is a very good driver.

As I owned a RX8 for 2 years I know what a RX8 can do, and I believe the Megane quicker round a track.(this will be proved or disproved at Brands hatch)

looks ,again that's always a matter of opinion, but I didn't say it was better looking than the RX8

The RX8 is better at going sideways!

This thread has gone way off-topic

Paul, the Megane will be quicker than James' 8 since he'll be striving to get 30 mpg from it.
