the original post states that this is to be kept for quotes only. a quick reference guide for who paid what and how the service was? not discussions on "which one", "when", "i need to make my mind up before 3rd Jan". It clearly states that if a discussion is required then do it off this page. discussions very quickly make a thread very long and laborious to read through if it is meant for facts only.
Your post would have been more relevant should you have stated the quotes you got and which one you went for and the service provided. there's a perfectly normal insurance thread where lots of discussions on insurance quotes as this take place already.

Really!?
Has not that deviation just potentially just saved a club member a whole load of money due to the discussion?
Does a thread consisting of an ever growing and repeating list of who got what quote for what track for what value car become very long and laborious to read through and ultimately pointless?
Why not just list the 5 or so companies providing this service. Find out their policy cost and excess, list it, job done and you can close the thread.
As insurance, even track insurance is down to individual circumstances this thread would be totally pointless if there is no discussion about the detail.

I crashed at Brands Hatch

I had insurance from REIS £500 excess and 5k of cover.

I want to point out the following:

Glass was not covered
I did not claim for my accident as it would have effected my road policy and I didnt want any messing about

The insurance in this instance was of no use. Unless you seriously damage or write the car off then its unlikely to be of any benefit.
