Hi All,
Now in association with Rolls-Royce Employees Motor Club.
They have spaces spare, so anyone interested in the date above, let know and I'll forward payment details. £120 gets you breakfast cob, lunch, cake, and drinks all day. Plus a day on the track if anyone wants to after the food

It's basically a short track, with a straight with a couple of humps of it forming a figure 8 layout. Typically you'd do three circuits with a combination of patterns. It's so short it's easy for beginners, one car at a time, so quick you don't have to get any more tired than you want to be (lots of little portions ) and interesting enough to be a lot of excitement in a small package even for experienced drivers.

Typically about £120pp for the day with breakfast, lunch and drinks available on site, depending on numbers.

FYI helmets aren't madatory, and as there's only one car on track at once I didn't bother with extra insurance. So I think it's quite the bargain too

Just another shout out for this.
I've finally found the track's admin email in my spam folder and they only have week days available. So I thinking a Friday in September right now.
Maybe something like the 15th or 22nd assuming I can book them.

Depending on how many people are interested it might be more sensible to go for a half day track hire as if there's no waiting we'll get a lot of driving That said, I'm happy to canvas opinion on that.

How much we talking for a weekday, same price? And how much for a half day?

Costs not including catering To be honest at these prices if we can get 10 of us it'd be worth doing a full day.

Half day private hire £375.00 plus VAT = £450.00 (also winter half day rate)
Full day private hire £750.00 plus VAT = £900.00

You will also require public liability insurance to a minimum of £5M for a motorsport environment, which if you don't have your own for motor sport, a company called MIS can provide this at the rates of:

0-5 participants = £80
10-20 participants = £175

Hi All, I'm struggling to get replies from people. Curborough are wanting confirmation in the next week. I've had no replies from Familia either but I'm just tried the MX5 FB group (hope you don't mind sharing ).

At this rate there won't be enough interest to justify a whole day at any rate and maybe not enough people for half day either
