Hmmm this is important information, my dad was keen to come down for a few rides but he'd need to hire a helmet :-k

I think medium would be fine, cheers Nigel! :thumleft:

Maybe I should invest in my own spare too, I currently am using a motorcycle helmet I use for karting (so full face), would be a good excuse to get an open face ;)

Excellent :thumleft:

I shall be bringing a selection of tools, jack / axle stands e.t.c. just in case, don't mind sharing with those in need, so would be good to stash them in one of the garages

Cheers

Nice one Pete. That's actually a decent point. I could probably do with ordering some pads for the fronts the rears I rekon will be ok and I think I have a spare set of yellow stuff.

I might be interested in doing this if there's still spaces available?

A couple of reservations though, I only have standard brembo pads installed, will these fade too quickly? I do have a spare set for the front but these are just standard brembo too.

My exhaust is petit racing inc the sports cat, it's pretty loud, would this pass the noise limit?

Not sure about the noise but my last heaviest at snetterton, I only had stock discs and pads. New ones didn't get delivered in time. Mine were fine, I did manage a full flush of brake fluid just before though.

Hi,
Just come down Sat morning with cash for the day.
I think the noise should be ok as it's equivalent to around 103 static but we will sort something out.
Brakes depend on the driver (Bulldog lived up to his name with brake pads)
You will be fine I'm sure but fluid would be good if it;s old, the most important thing with brakes is not to stay out to long.
Send me a pm if you want
See you there

I could be in for some fun then with unknown brake fluid age, 1155 pads and Continental 225 which started to marble after 4 laps at Rockingham, and that was with std pads. Live and learn with the emphasis on live!

Mr_E which route are you taking up to Donington? Its likely that there will be 3 of us convoying up from down here via the M42 /A38 so if we cannot work out a "rolling" rendezvous we could meet at Hopwood Services on the M42 at 6:00am or McDonald's, Appleby Magna, Atherstone Road, Appleby Magna, Leicestershire DE12 7AP which is about 20 minutes from the track so if we met at 06:30 and breakfasted we can easily be in the track by the 7:30 all refreshed and raring to go!!!!!
