Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the pre-war period

Open pit lane £150 per car if we can get a group together

This is a good deal for the GP Circuit and on a Saturday.

I'm in Pete, I was going to book Bedford on this date but sod it Donnington is better

Also thats a great price for the GP circuit, hopefully we can get enough cars involved to get it for 150.

Hi Guys,
Noise limit is 98 db on a drive by so that would be just over 100 static.
I,m on my way to Spa for the track day we have organised with Circuit days who are also doing the Donington one.
GSB may have time to put more info in the thread before he joins us at Spa.
If we get 10 cars plus I would hope extra drivers and passengers will be free.

I'm hoping we will have more than one garage

I have asked Ian Mothersole to get this up in the club shop ASAP so we just do the one payment with bank transfer.
I'm hoping we will get up to a min of 10 places but will go with what we can.
I'm also hoping that Ian and Nigel will be joining us

(that means we get a kettle and a banner)

The garages are £30 each in advance and we can get 3 cars per garage so just £10 each that we can collect on the day.
I am happy to help anyone that requires some track driving help at this circuit (I'm not saying I'm any good just prepared to help)
I'll let the list meister update later

We now have 4

Main thing that is putting me off is on my last track day at Snetterton, and my first ever outing (in my own car) had big oil burp, plus dont have any tools yet (xmas list!!). Going to start a new thread for some oil burp questions / possible fixes. But just for my own peace of mind, has anyone else going got the basics just incase I c*ck it up again for everyone and get a nice red flag lol

Between those that are going there will no doubt be numerous spare parts, pads, drop links even wheels. Not to mention hoses, clips, cable ties, coolant jacks, stands and plenty of experienced hands. Make sure you oil is no higher than 3/4 and you should be fine, note the use of should!

An oil burp isn't a big deal in my opinion, it does make a bit of a mess in the air box but when it happened to me I just backed off on the throttle for a half a lap and the smoke cleared and then just carried and on resumed my track session

and cleaned out the air box the following day

Actually I found the oil burp was an ideal opportunity to cool the brakes

When I had the oil level set halfway on the dipstick all was good

Spare parts shouldn't be a problem (touch wood!) New tyres all round, new pads all round, just meant like a few basic tools etc, but sounds like that wont be a problem! Need to make a start on my xmas list haha! At Snetterton i turned up with my oil full and Casey very kindly pumped 250ml out via the dipstick and it still burped, i think either my 8 is fussy or I just corner too damn quick lol
