You are right Drew, there are 5 paid members, 1 ex member and 2 previous members so as such our meet is 50% guests. I don't know of anything else i can do to encourage more members to this other than highlighting that it actually happens no matter what. Although the Gillingham allsorts area drive out my uncle attended is usually well populated aswell. I haven't seen much of that recently actually, since Cloverleaf has taken an absence from the Events Team? A question for the wider populous, but is anyone running this? Mark you usually attend I believe?

Thanks Mark, I've asked some questions in that thread, rather than diverging on Robs Shropshire one. It appears to have been left alone since Jan meet. If yourself or anyone else involved wants to keep on with it or Cloverleaf as the orginating poster, if club members are still welcome to be invited of course. This topic was raised at the AGM, about these being kept up to date and this is months out.

I have sent a PM aswell, if he is not monitoring the event and I have not seen him online for a while, he may also not be monitoring PMs. Have asked the same questions though, if he does not want it on the club anymore or has not got the time/nominee to update for him, then I suppose we will have no alternative than to archive it as a lost meet until it either takes off again or Azam has more time.

It seems our meet has sparked some interest in other monthly meets. Those of you who know me will know that if i can do it, anyone can.
If it helps anyone, what we have done is to pick a venue (s) , choose a date, update the topic regularly and stick to it.
0k, not everyone can attend all the time, but this certainly won't be because of the lack of information as the main page and calendar are kept bang up to date as soon as needed.
Plenty of notice is what we aim for so members can plan their visits months in advance if they wish, hope this helps, it certainly works for us, rob.

Good morning all, i thought i would give this a last bump before booking a space for at least 16 people with the venue on Saturday the 8th at the latest.
I have to say thanks to all that have responded so far, but i am also quite surprised that our vicinity is not very well represented, especially as some attending will have travelled quite a few miles to see us.
For anyone dithering, please reply here by Saturday the 8th to secure a seat, that's the notice the venue needs for a booking of this scale.

What a brilliant turnout, 20 people in attendance. What was great was the instant conversation between many who had never met, making everyone feel instantly welcomed. what was great was that everyone who had said yes turned up, which is quite normal for our regulars anyway, thanks to all that came, rob.

Evening Rob, I know you have had success and stayed on this same rotation for many years of the 4 pubs. However, I'm just wandering if there is any worth looking more North. Considering I know where the main attendees live of yourself and Agnetha, would there be scope to look somewhere in Wales. I appreciate the title is shropshire/west midlands, but most regulars are from Wales? This is the main reason I can't attend, due to family life, 500 miles of driving out that way a week in commuting etc....for example this weeks is at least an 1hr 20 min from me to Whitchurch each way. Add a bit of traffic and it's a 3hr round trip.

We went to GlasFryn In Mold the other day and it was a fantastic food and venue. I believe this would also be alot closer for you and Agnetha, a pleasant drive and still easily accessible from the a55 for our English counterparts. Something like this 45 min away from me whichnwould certainly change my potential, I believe you yourself actually did a visual radius graph which put me more outside it than I think Dan in the Cotswolds? Of course we do have the other 2 members here that joined us on the Snowdonia run also. Just an idea.
