Not a bad set of roads to have on your doorstep!

I've heard that the authorities have attempted to stifle the appeal by adding cameras etc. etc.
As a local, what's the real score with this? Or is it just more mythology!

Complete mythology...there is no fixed cameras i can think of in conwy county actually? They do have a speed camera van who was sat in his usual spot near betws so i knew he wouldnt be about and i passed 2 traffic cars who were actually driving around the triangle themselves in opposite directions with their shades on going quicker than me so they were more likely playing and hunting motorbikes. Thats there favourite past time round here, as long as your not sideways and driving erratically they leave you alone. Never have an issue. Much better than in england and scotland where any decent roads seem to be getting average speed cameras. This in my opinion is the best area in the uk to drive. And the a470 starts next to evo traingle which i a great road through the entire country all way down to Cardiff. I sometimes just like to drive down there because i can

Some photos out today pulled over....

I've had a couple of really good drive round the triangle as part of driving weekends.
Once in the REX and once in the C63. Enjoyed it more in the REX as you can explore its limits more safely.
Both times stayed at the Tyn Rhos hotel nr Caernarfon. Fantastic food (fresh lobster) and plenty of parking. Took in the llanberris pass as well. Would make a good club weekender!
