Things just went a little politically correct there.....pink and fluffy brigade to the rescue  no banter allowed, those found breaking the banter rule will ironically be discriminated against. I shall point out this is a joke before someone finds it offensive and it all starts again....

Just booked one of the last rooms at the Richmond for Sophie and myself. Looking forward to this next month! Fingers crossed that the weather is as good as it has been in the past!

Looking at the length of the route on Saturday and my average fuel consumption I will definitely have to fill up somewhere, is the petrol station still there at Crossgates James?

I'm hoping the weather is decent... We've had 5 years of good weather so far for this. However, this is Wales, we had a load of snow on Friday! Enough for me to almost get stuck in the work vehicle, all gone by Saturday though.

Yes there is a petrol station next to the cafe at crossgates. Its a different lunch stop to last time but slightly more convenient for us in terms of parking/fuel etc. Cafe is similar to the Pendorosa at the Horseshoe pass - popular with bikers etc so I need to ring ahead that morning with the numbers of people.

I will be listing a few places to eat in Aber for sat night soon so let me know which you would prefer then I can book a table. At the moment I think it will be around 15+ people?

Not a curry but good. The upstairs area has large table sizes for big groups
