The comp test results need recalculating for 250RPM..and there's that big difference between the two chambers :-k

The wide variation between the front and rear rpms suggests either;
- the rear was done first and by the time the front was done the battery was tired.
- the front was done first, then the rear was done without replacing the plug in the front, so the starter had a much easier time spinning the engine.

My guess would be the latter.

Results adjusted to 250rpm & converted to KGF which is what most people recognise :)

Cheers Mark, I wouldn't be too worried about the readings on the front rotor, just a bit gummed up I reckon from lack of use. John didn't use her as his daily, in fact correct me if I'm wrong here John but you hardly drove her at all?

They're fine numbers. I'd happily buy a car with compression in the 6s. Good luck with the sale. Car looks great.

Importing a car to ROI is silly expensive, so how does it work if it gets exported back to the UK?

Does someone get a refund or is there yet more money to pay out, other than just the ferry fare, or drive across the border to NI?

That's because the rats we have in govt here continue to charge us VRT which btw is an illegal tax. The EU even fined the Irish govt for not implementing new laws regarding vrt and put a time frame for the Irish govt to implement them but they are still ignoring them.

It's a cash cow for the rats and they know it. If I want to import a 2009 mazda mx5 NC ( which I do) the scum in govt will charge me 2000 euros for doing so
