Hi All,
Given the proximity of my next track day I have had to make alternative arrangements so please take me off the list. Good luck with the sale!
Kind regards

Hi,

Is there any stock left for sale or has someone decided they no longer want theirs? I would like to put an order in for the springs+shocks if possible.

Hi guys,
I have an 04 192 which I have had for about 6 years. Bit of a noob question but is the PZ suspension that much better? In my head as it was designed for the RX8 it must be spot on? I have recently had a rebuild where I found I had a snapped rear spring. I have replaced the spring to get through MOT but car still feels a little off to drive even after wheel alignment and balancing etc. I am not looking to lower my car significantly as there are a few speed bumps close to my house but need to do something about my handling.also is it really firm?
Once again sorry for the noob questions

just a guess, but would you not swap springs as a matched pair, this may explain it.

Agree, the garage just did the minimum to get it through its MOT.. but now instead of just getting new springs at the rear I am thinking it may be time to upgrade everything? If so then this looks like a decent deal (it's it's a direct swap and not too low etc) how would these compare to a set of Tein coilovers

Depends entirely on what Tein coilovers you go for.
Avoid the Flex Z units, they're not built correctly imho.

For a road car, or even a track car unless is has been significantly lightened*, the PZ suspension setup has got to be among the best you can get.

The only downside, compared to aftermarket coil-overs, is that it's not adjustable for either ride height or damping.
However, that also means that you can't get the "adjustment" wrong - as so many owners do and find that their car handles much worse than before, even if their ego won't let them admit it.

* a track car that has lost a 100 kilos or more may sit a little high on new PZ suspension. However, losing that sort of weight is not a trivial exercise in itself

There are stocks of rear springs left, not front. Which do you need?

I think you're still in the list Tony. I think John's been offline for a couple of days but he should be back at it shortly.

Can I please throw my hat into the ring for a full set of shocks and springs (providing there's some left)? I realised the other day that I let my membership lapse in December so I'm feeling a bit of an idiot right now, but I'm not above begging if necessary.

If it helps my case at all I have a PZ with one dead rear spring. I'd rather do things right and replace everything front and back, but I'm loth to go for something aftermarket if I can get the OEM spec parts.

If I am able to get a new set, I'd also be more than happy to offer up the second hand bits to anyone one in need (though I'm probably getting a bit ahead of myself now).

Cheers, Mark.

Hi all, can I get a full set? I've been a member since I got my 8 in 2012. It's recently been rebuilt and I'm now looking at sorting out the suspension. I recently had a snapped rear spring which I had a local garage replace bit since thing any kind of high speed driving and it feels like the car wants to kill me. Time to start taking a bit better care of her :) * I'm in Sheffield for work for a week so can possibly collect (depending on the location)

I'm guessing the local garage didn't replace it with the correct spring and just replaced the broken one with an ECP special? :/

I'm not sure, but as I intend to keep the car forever and it's not a daily thinking I should get more of a fast road/track setup. The goal is to make it hard and uncomfortable to drive so my Mrs doesn't want to drive it to work at all :)

well, that's not the pz setup then. try the cheapest set of coilovers you can find.

they will ruin the ride and handling perfectly for you :D

if on the other hand you want a excellent fast road/ track day setup, without ruining the very well engineered chassis, and have a livable ride quality, go ahead with new pz stuff :D

Ah the MeisterRs with the 10kg/8kg (ish) springs that someone is selling on here will do the trick then.

Simon, I have a full set that I haven't even opened the box on. I'm not sure what route you'd be taking from Sheffield back to Bristol ... but I'm in Leamington Spa, which might be close to your route.

That would be awesome! Did you get them as from the shop? How much did you want for them? I'm probably not driving back down south until next Tuesday evening if that's ok? (Work depending)
