Pro ECU Mapping or MazdaEdit

Post by Antz41 »

So I'm mid RX8 race car NA build and feel with the mods being done a map of the standard ECU will help bring it all together.

My issue, the car is obviously not road going, I need to sort it all by 18th March and I live in the South West where no rotary mapping specialists appear to be based!

Is there anyone this side of the country or at least less than 100 miles away to take it to for it to be done properly, or am I looking at buying MazdaEdit and trying to make sense of it all? Unless someone fancies an expenses paid trip to the seaside to help?

As an update - ended up buying an OpenPort and MazdaEdit. Haven't played with it yet (no so easy to get logs on a non-road legal car, but I'll update my build thread with any progress.
