Some useful vids to explain Turbos

Post by warnock360 » Fri Aug 09, 2013 6:42 pm

As the title says here are a few useful videos which should help to explain some of the components in a turbo setup and how to do a DIY install. More experienced grease monkeys won't need to view these but if you're new to the world of turbo and set up they may help to explain some of the concepts being discussed in other topics.

This by no means is a complete guide but a quick look into some of the components and a rough DIY. There are many other areas that will need to be covered for a complete set up.

That compressed MCM vid is great :)

Really good to see so much interest in boost atm in the club. Can only mean we collectively get more experience on how to boost the '8 making it easier for everyone!

I agree, it's funny how things go through phases of interest. When I joined every other post was about fricking seafoam, I'm glad we're looking at more interesting ideas now. If you have the time the full 3 part turbo vids are v informative.

I'm currently researching the different garrett turbo options as prefer the idea of a beast bb turbo than the greddy one.
