Unfortunately ive made and help design a kit for my old car "afew locals also followed suit" other designs also help other members develop there own or help with locating items for fitment etc

Not only that but ive currently got some ideas/designed parts currently out there on sale, a company also tried getting afew ideas to put into production aswell

So am sorry, im not very experienced in erm working, plodding around a turbo or creating one offs etc

For a small record plz check it out "a larger dia pipe actually increases a pressure drop on the initial stages of boost ie the system needs charging before anything positive happens, using for the same size dia pipework throughout the system 'turbo -inlet manifold' axtually does help and does reduce the lag" using a larger intercooler if its a poorly designed cooler also has inefficiencies "this was shown via a computer simulation during a cooler design from a project on another OC"

Ps the kit on the image isnt a greedy kit aka trust "greedy and trust are the same company, im pretty sure hks is also in ownership" the kit in the images "was designed to allow fitment without interference with any engine component, support etc" theres apparently 17 different versions (power ratings)

If ading alittle info an insight etc is crap then hey "stick the cooler in the boot" as another insight "its beyond highly recommended to keep the pipework as short as possible.... Thats advice from anyone in the turbo world"
Ive not said you have too or its best to do etc "ideas are always good"

I reckon it might be fun to have a rear-mount turbo on an RX8. It would create some issues but it would also solve a few.

Rear mount STS turbo install :)

I expect the two outer tailpipes are for the BOVs

They're for the external wastegates, the ones that vent exhaust gases when the turbo reaches maximum boost to prevent overboosting. The BOV was under the bonnet, that just vents pressure in the inlet to stop it stalling the turbo.

Yeh there called a "screamer pipe"

Do a utube and youll hear how mentle they are, litterally the car when on boost sounds like a jet engine on steroids, the only down side is most if not all track events using any sound montering, you'll be flagged and pulled off

Also they can pretty often produce flames aswell
