So after driving 180 miles from RR to Hollyhead and another 50 miles from Dublin port, to get back home, I can start reporting on the engine!

The car is a completely different animal to the one I knew. Gone is the ponderous acceleration in 2nd and the non existent mid range torque. Car has real power and I am much happier with it now. Rotaries are really smooth, but this engine now feels like silk. It sounds so much better and actually has some torque now! Ben did an absolutely brilliant job.

To anyone looking into porting, please, please, please do yourself a massive favour and get a half bridge done by Ben. You will not regret it for a second! The car finally has the performance to back up its amazing looks.

Ben's prices were very reasonable and he was an absolute gent to deal with. Thank you!!!!! :thumleft:

I'm going to drive her to work all week, mainly motorway. That way the car can bed in as quickly as possible. I'll update again very soon with more pics and a video of her idling.

I should have it done by next weekend!!!! I do a 90 mile trip daily to work so it won't be long racking up!

Dying to get to that redline, but I have to take it easy for another while :)

Excellent - that's nice and soon! It's my nightmare when it comes to rebuild time, it's going to take me ages to run it in, I don't do the miles to make it happen in less than a month at best.

Just commit to driving it!

Ordered 4 new tyres. Michelin pilot sport 3. Hopefully have them within a week.

Driving to work today, it made a mundane journey special. I've noticed the RB anti roll bars have eliminated the body roll on corners. Gives you so much more confidence to take them faster!

Really considering the axial short shifter, as I feel like it would speed up the gear change.
